MOGENS LASSEN

Architect Mogens Lassen (1901-1987) was a great Danish designer. His work covers a wide field of buildings and interior designs of international renown.

Mogens Lassen was inspired by the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier and the German-American architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and he was fascinated by functionalistic design. His design, however, was quite unique and Mogens Lassen became one of the pioneers of Danish functionalism, making his creations an example to many designers.

Mogens Lassen has always been among the top-architects of Danish designs and he was a close friend of the famous Danish architect Arne Jacobsen.
